M/S Gollenes

In collaboration with Maritime Montering, Ekornes Contract has delivered furniture to the new trawler M/S Gollenes. This state-of-the-art trawler, measuring 69.99 meters, was built at Karstensens Skibsværft in Denmark and is the third newbuild for the shipping company Gollenes AS based in Fosnavåg. The vessel will engage in combined trawling activities, partly pelagic fishing for herring and mackerel, and partly industrial fishing combined with whitefish. M/S Gollenes and Karstensens Skibsværft AS were awarded the "Best Large Trawler" prize by Baird Maritime Awards in 2023. Congratulations!
